Feel stronger and more confident doing the things that matter to you.
Our mobile exercise physiologists work with you at home or in your community. We get to know what you want to work on, then shape the exercise around your needs.
Your NDIS Exercise Health Check is a 15-minute call about your goals and whether we can help.

Sessions at home or somewhere local across Sydney, so there’s no clinic to get to.
We specialise in exercise physiology for autistic children, and support children and adults with other disabilities.
We talk through fees and how they fit your NDIS plan before paid sessions start.
Exercise physiology uses planned, adapted exercise to help people improve or maintain their physical abilities. An accredited exercise physiologist is an allied health professional trained to work with people living with disability, health conditions or injury.
At Drift Health, we connect that work to what you want to be able to do. Your goals might involve:
Work on the strength everyday movements call for. If getting out of a chair is difficult, that gives us a practical goal to assess and build the exercise around.
Build your capacity to stay active for longer, with the amount of exercise and rest adjusted to how you're managing.
Practise the movement skills involved in activities you find difficult, starting with a level of challenge that suits your current ability.
Helping kids with autism be kids is at the heart of Drift Health. We specialise in exercise physiology for autistic children, while also supporting children and adults with other disabilities.

Exercise physiology for autism
Clear demonstrations and time to practise help make exercise easier to follow. We work on the strength and fitness for everyday tasks and activities you want to do more independently.
Exercise physiology for intellectual disability
Short activities, variety and games based on your interests can make movement easier to get into. We work on the skills and stamina for play, sport and keeping active.
Exercise physiology for ADHD
We break movement into smaller skills and practise them through play. Your child can work on balance and coordination for activities such as stepping, climbing and joining playground games.
Exercise physiology for developmental delay
Build strength, balance and stamina around the activities you or your child enjoy. We adapt the exercises and pace to your abilities, health needs and everyday goals.
Exercise physiology for Down syndrome
Whether you want to move more independently or maintain the abilities you have, we’ll shape exercise around your needs. Tell us what you’d like to work on.
Contact Drift HealthDrift Health has been working with the NDIS community for more than 8 years, and more than 130 families across Sydney have trusted us with their sessions.
That experience shapes how we start: we get to know the person first, then choose exercise they can actually do and want to keep doing.

How we work together
We’ll assess where you’re at, talk through your goals and create a personalised exercise plan. Then we’ll work on the strength, fitness and movement skills that help you do more for yourself, one session at a time.
We talk about your priorities, what's worked before and what hasn't. Your interests, routine and the support around you help us understand how sessions could fit.
Your exercise physiologist assesses how you move and the physical abilities relevant to your goals. That helps us choose what to work on first.
We choose and adapt activities around your abilities and how you learn. This can include changing the instructions, equipment or pace so you can take part.
We'll talk about how the exercises feel and how you're managing the activities that matter to you. As your needs or abilities change, we adjust the plan.

Your goals guide the sessions. Whether you're working towards doing more independently or maintaining the movement you have, we want to understand what matters to you.
We also talk about how you prefer to communicate and who you'd like involved in your care.
Exercise physiology for intellectual disability
We start by getting to know your child: what interests them, how they communicate and what helps them feel comfortable. That connection gives us a place to begin the movement work.
Play and games can help us practise a skill in a way your child wants to take part in. We adapt the activity as we learn what works for them.

Tell us your suburb and the times that work for you. We'll check clinician availability and the session location before arranging your first appointment.
Ask about availability in your areaExercise physiology may be funded through the NDIS when the therapy meets the funding criteria and relates to your disability support needs. Whether you can use your funding depends on the supports in your plan and your available budget.
We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Drift Health isn't a registered NDIS provider, so NDIA-managed (agency-managed) plans can't be used with us. We'll discuss the proposed service and fees before paid sessions begin. Your plan manager or the NDIA can help clarify how your funding may be used.
You can get in touch whatever your current fitness level. Your exercise physiologist will assess your needs and discuss a suitable starting point, including any health concerns that affect how you exercise.
Tell us what made it difficult. It may have been the activity, the setting, the pace or how it was explained. Understanding that experience helps us discuss what could be adapted and whether our approach suits you.
We'll recommend a frequency after understanding your goals and assessing your needs. We'll discuss how that fits your routine and budget, then review it as you go.
Both can be relevant to movement and physical function. The best starting point depends on your needs and what you want to work on. Tell us what is happening and we can discuss which service, or combination of services, may suit you.
Our fees are in line with the NDIS price limits for exercise physiology, and travel is charged in line with NDIS rules. A standard session is 60 minutes, with extended sessions available. Contact us for a quote for your proposed sessions, and we'll confirm everything in a service agreement before you decide to begin paid therapy. The initial Exercise Health Check call is free.
