About Drift Health

Hey, I'm Vic

I'm Victor, the head Exercise Physiologist behind Drift Health. Over eight years working with autistic NDIS participants, I've seen the same pattern: exercise works when the environment is familiar, the structure is predictable, and the practitioner adapts to how someone communicates and regulates—not the other way around.

That's why we're running this free parent and carer session, and I'd love to personally invite you to join.

Have You Tried Signing Up Your Child With ASD/ID To An Exercise Class Only Having Them Sit On The Side?

And you did it with good intentions.

You wanted them to have a chance to socialise, join in with sport, and build their fitness, health and coordination.

But instead, the class may have felt too hard, moved too quickly, felt too social, or asked them to follow instructions in a way that did not make sense to them.

So they sat on the side. Switched off. Lost interest. Or simply did not want to go back.

It is not because they are lazy or incapable. It is because the starting point was not right for them.

When movement feels possible, enjoyable and matched to how your child engages, small wins can become real skills, confidence, and more opportunities to join in.

In this parent session, you will learn why the usual approach often does not stick—and how to choose a first step your child can actually succeed at.
